If you are experiencing malfunctions with the parking assist system, such as the malfunction indicator light activating when you engage reverse, follow the instructions provided here. The sensor malfunction is likely due to the control unit located in the boot on the right side. Open the side plastic panel to access the control unit. Disconnect the three power connectors from it and replace it with a new one, then check the proper functioning of the system.
