In this video we will see how to install the cheap parking sensors that you can find on Ebay, Amazon etc. The video is shot on a Vauxhall Astra but is applicable to any car model. All you need is a drill (with batteries if possible), some masking tape (the one used by coachbuilders) and a little care when disassembling the plastic parts. In the kit you will find the control unit, the four sensors, a monitor or a buzzer that signals the distance, the bipolar cable to take the signal from the reverse lights and a cup bit for the drill. Start by spreading the paper tape on the bumper choosing positions that allow the sensor to remain horizontal to the road. Trace marks on the tape corresponding to the holes you are going to drill with the bit supplied in the kit (remember to remove the material from the bit at each hole). Insert the sensors and remove the internal lining of the luggage rack which is generally interlocking, look for the passage holes that will allow you to pass the cables inside. Choose a place to place the control unit and connect the sensors, I recommend behind the left headlight (in the example video it is positioned on the right because the car is English! ). Find a place on the dashboard where to place the monitor or buzzer, position it and start laying the cable towards the control unit passing through the internal gaskets of the sill or roof lining and connect it to the connector. With the help of a tester, look for the reverse gear lamp wire and connect the red wire of the bipolar cable to it, then connect the black wire to earth, insert the connector and check that you have done it correctly by engaging reverse gear, you will hear a confirmation beep.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308

If we need to change the time on this car we can follow the instructions given in this video tutorial and read the instructions below. First of all, access the driver's seat and turn on the ignition.
