Operation: How to drain water from the fuel filter

To avoid damage to the engine's fuel system, it is good practice to drain the filter that removes any water that may be present in the fuel that powers our van's engine. The separator is usually located behind the cabin, on the driver's side, at the bottom. Once located, insert one end of a tube into the drain cap's hose fitting and the other end into a collection container. Open the cap by unscrewing it and let all the water drain out, then close the cap tightly. If the separator warning light comes on after performing this procedure, it is necessary to also drain the diesel filter using the same steps.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video.
