How to change just the wiper blade rubber

Start with the rear wiper. Using a screwdriver, carefully detach the blade; each car model has its own sliding system. Remove the caps at the ends of the rail. Universal rubbers are available that can fit all types of rails. You can find them on Amazon for £4.99 per pair, with free delivery. Use pliers to remove the rubber from its housing by squeezing the rib that holds it in place. Fit the new rubber; if necessary, cut off any excess, replace the cap, and reinstall the rail. You can then refit it onto the vehicle. Follow the same procedure for the front wipers.
