When talking about issues with the Ingenium JLR, we are referring to the diesel engine. The first problem is with the contra-rotating shafts, due to abnormal bearing wear. The second problem concerns the timing chain system, which tends to elongate. These issues occur between 30,000 and 100,000 kilometers, and result in engine replacement. They are often caused by regeneration problems. According to the manufacturer, the service intervals can be done after 34,000 kilometers, but it often happens that the diesel particulate filter undergoes forced regenerations, even every 300 kilometers, mixing oil and diesel in exponential amounts, leading to oil pollution and degradation of its capabilities, requiring a service after only a few thousand kilometers. This certainly causes both of the initial mentioned failures, and also explains why this issue does not occur systematically for everyone, but only for those who predominantly use the vehicle in the city. The main solution is therefore to change the oil every 10,000 kilometers.

How to replace the battery in the Honda Forza 300

In today's video you will see how to locate the service battery in the Honda midsize scooter, the Forza 300. First park the scooter on the central stand and leave it off for half an hour.
