First, park the car on a level surface, engage the handbrake, and switch off the vehicle. After allowing it to cool for about half an hour, you can proceed. Locate the release lever under the steering column, on the door side. Pull it firmly. Now exit the car, go to the front, and press the release catch under the bonnet. Lift it and secure it with the prop rod.
