How to Test a Fuse Without Tools

In this video, we will demonstrate an empirical method to test fuses without measuring tools. You will need a common plastic ballpoint pen, a small piece of paper, and an elastic band or a piece of adhesive tape. Use the tape (or elastic band) to attach the fuse to the pen, then vigorously rub the fuse on a piece of synthetic fabric (it can even be your wool blend jumper). After it has built up static electricity, place the fuse over the piece of paper laid on a flat surface. If it attracts, then the fuse is live and functional.
