AdBlue is the latest blow dealt to diesel vehicles to ultimately phase out this type of propulsion, as it creates so many problems that owning a diesel vehicle becomes undesirable. First the DPF, then the EGR, and finally AdBlue for reducing NOx: a system that is very costly and has the major flaw of either working perfectly or stopping the vehicle; unfortunately, it has many malfunctions, all of which are very expensive. Remember that a full tank of AdBlue lasts 10,000 to 20,000 miles, depending on vehicle usage. Clearly, city driving will regenerate more and thus the additive will last less compared to motorway driving, which is cleaner. Try not to let the additive run completely empty, as even if you refill it, the vehicle will not start; you will need to perform a reset at the garage. Many wonder if it is possible to eliminate AdBlue. Currently, it is not checked during the MOT, so theoretically, it is possible to 'exclude' it, but not remove it. And not on all vehicles. Instead, we recommend using an additive to prevent it from crystallising. Many want to know if AdBlue always works. The answer is yes: as soon as the catalyst heats up, AdBlue starts to function.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
