In this video, we see how to reset the automatic transmission adaptation program, by memorizing the new driving habits based on the acceleration request and the engine load at that moment. This way, the control unit gets accustomed to our driving style. To perform the reset, first insert the key and turn it to position 2 without starting the engine; press the accelerator fully for 5 seconds. We will hear a noise. Now, turn the key to position "0" and release the accelerator without removing the key. Wait for two minutes without removing the key, and it's done. The adjustment adapts to your driving around the 40th time the control unit of the gearbox is reset; once it learns your driving style, the adaptation will be complete.
