In order to replace the timing belt of the Volkswagen Polo 1.0 TSi, it is necessary to loosen the screws that secure the right front wheel and the corresponding wheel arch; once these components have been removed, it will be possible to proceed by loosening the central nut of the belt tensioner pulley, so that the latter is completely removed. After removing the old belt, it will be possible to insert the new one around the respective pulleys, bringing everything back into tension with the corresponding pulley. At the end of the installation, the engine can be started to verify that everything is functioning correctly.
