In this video, you will learn how to turn off the maintenance lights on the Volkswagen Golf VIII: from the switch panel located on the right side of the steering wheel, select the menu button and navigate to "Driving Time" and then "Distance Travelled". You need to press and hold the button on this option for about ten seconds, then release it and go to the "Service" menu.

Follow the instructions displayed and select "Service Reset", confirm, and at this point, the service will be reset.

To confirm, switch off the instrument cluster and turn it back on to check that the warning light is off.
