How to replace the timing belt of the VW Touran

The timing belt of the Volkswagen Touran must be replaced when issues such as squeaking and loss of engine power arise. To replace the timing belt, we must first open the hood and then set aside the timing belt tensioner pulley using a combination wrench size 15. Immediately after, we lift the vehicle with a jack. From the bottom of the vehicle, we remove the toothed belt. Insert the new belt and tension the pulley. Then insert the toothed belt on the tensioner and lower the car. We conclude the replacement by returning the tensioner pulley to its position.
