How do you replace the timing belt of the Volkswagen Touran?

The replacement of the timing belt of the Volkswagen Touran can be carried out by loosening the screws that secure the front right wheel: this will then need to be removed, along with the corresponding wheel arch. By doing this, it will be possible to access the side of the engine where the belt is located: the central nut of the tensioner roller must be loosened so that it can be removed and thus reduce the tension of the belt. The belt can now be removed from its seat in order to insert the new one, bringing it back to tension and checking that everything works.
