Today's instructions will show you how to remove and replace the timing belt on the Volkswagen Touran 1.6 TDI, as well as on the Volkswagen Golf. First, raise the vehicle and start by removing the front wheel and the wheel arch liner; then disconnect the alternator belt and remove the crankshaft pulley, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the timing cover to access the belt, taking the necessary references for replacement; then install the new belt and set the timing, following the video tutorial to the end!
