How do you replace the rearview mirror on a Volkswagen Golf? Let's see how to proceed in this video. With a plastic or rubber plastic lever, we go to lever the plastic clips between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass of the same. We pry until the clips detach from the mirror; very delicate operation because the slide or the clips itself could break. Once the matching cover has been removed, unscrew the round plastic plate with a screwdriver to replace the mirror. Finally we hook the plastic snap clips to mount the new cover.
