Replacing the External Rear View Mirror on a Volkswagen Golf

We will briefly see the instructions on how to remove and replace the external rear view mirror on a Volkswagen Golf. First, open the front door of the vehicle and start by removing the triangular plastic cover behind the mirror and the door panel, unscrewing all the fixing screws and disconnecting the electrical connector for the window switch; then unscrew the screws of the rear view mirror, disconnecting the adjustment connector to pull the mirror out from the outside, as shown in the video. Finally, repair or replace the mirror, adjusting the angle of the glass.
