How do you replace the external rearview mirror of the Volkswagen Golf?

To replace the external rearview mirror of the Volkswagen Golf, you need to completely remove the door panel from its seat: to do this, you will need to unscrew the screws next to the power window switch panel and at the bottom of the panel itself. Once this has been removed, you can proceed by loosening the screws that secure the mirror to its seat: by doing so, you can disconnect the connector underneath and then insert the new replacement mirror. After the replacement, you can verify that everything is functioning properly.
