How do you access the fuse box in the interior of the Volkswagen Golf VII?

In this video we can see how to access the fuse box located in the passenger compartment of the Volkswagen Golf VII: this box is located behind a small storage compartment on the left side of the steering wheel, between the steering column and the driver's door. The storage compartment has soft rubber walls, so it is easy to squeeze it and remove it from its housing, exposing the fuses behind it. A second fuse box is also located in the engine compartment, right in front of the one in the passenger compartment, because it is located on the right side of the starter battery, when looking at the car from the front.

First, ensure the key is not inserted, then open the bonnet and move to the front of the left headlamp. Next, locate the bolt just behind the filter box and connect the positive terminal clamp to it.
