How to disassemble the door panel of a Volkswagen Golf?

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

To disassemble the door panel of a Volkswagen Golf, start by lowering the window completely and turning off the engine. Use a flathead screwdriver or a plastic tool to carefully remove the cover of the inner handle, levering gently to avoid damage. Locate and remove the hidden screws behind the handle cover and other visible screws on the edge of the panel. Once the screws are removed, use a plastic tool to lever on the bottom edge of the panel and detach the plastic clips that hold it to the door. After detaching all the clips, lift the panel upwards to unhook the top part from the window guide. Carefully disconnect the electrical connectors of the window buttons and lock to completely free the panel from the door. Now you have access to the inside of the door for any repairs or replacements.
