How do you reset the Service light of the Volkswagen Scirocco?

The Service indicator that appears on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Scirocco can be reset by holding down the button located in the bottom right of the instrument panel while it is turned off. By continuing to hold down the button, you can insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot and turn it to start the instrument panel. Once it is turned on, release the button on the right side and press the button on the left side once: this will reset the Service indicator and the instrument panel can be turned off.
