Start by lifting the vehicle with a jack to ensure stability. Then, locate the fuel filter, usually positioned near the engine, and unscrew the fuel supply pipes. Before removing the filter, take all precautions to avoid fuel leaks. Once removed, install the new filter making sure the pipes are securely attached. Now move on to the fuel sensor, which is usually located near the tank. Remove any electrical connectors and securely fasten it to its housing. Check that all connections are secure, then start the engine and check for any leaks. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, contact an experienced mechanic.
