How do you deactivate the daytime running lights in Volkswagen cars?

For several years now, cars, when the ignition is turned on, automatically activate the daytime running lights, making them more visible even during the day and offering greater safety during road circulation. In many of these cars it is possible to deactivate them, and in this video tutorial we are explained how to do it: With the light switch in the Off position, lower the left lever on the steering wheel to turn on the turn signal, pull it back to activate the high beams, and after a few seconds the aforementioned daytime running lights will turn off. The entire sequence just described must occur with the instrument panel on.
