How to replace the battery of a Volkswagen car remote control

In this video, we can see how to replace the battery of a Volkswagen car remote with an alarm. On the side chrome part, we have a rectangular button: by pressing it, we allow the physical emergency key to come out of its housing. In this way, we create an opening between the two halves of the remote body, which allow us to pry it open with a small screwdriver or with our fingers, in order to open the cover and expose the battery compartment. Remove the battery by prying it out with something sharp and replace it. It is a common CR2032 battery, which can be found at any supermarket or electronics store. Put it back in its container, paying attention to the polarity, and place it back in its housing. Close the remote cover and put the physical key back in place.
