When the key of a Volkswagen vehicle stops working, the cause is almost always due to the remote control battery not functioning. To replace the remote control battery, we must press the side button to remove the top part, which is the emergency metal key. Insert the metal key into the top hole, make a slight lever outwards, and open the remote control in two parts to replace the battery, then immediately close the remote control.
