How to Change the Key Battery of a Volkswagen

To replace the battery in a Volkswagen key, follow these steps: take the key and locate the cover on the side with the manufacturer's logo. Apply pressure with your finger outward to remove the cover. Underneath, you will find the battery compartment; use a flathead screwdriver to help remove the battery. Take the new battery (usually a CR 2032) and place it in the compartment, ensuring the positive terminal is facing up. Finally, refit the cover onto the key.
