How to replace the rear light of a Volkswagen Golf

Replacing the rear light of a Volkswagen Golf GTI is a relatively simple operation. Open the trunk of the car and locate the inner lining near the light to be replaced, then remove the lining itself so that you can access the screws that hold the light in place. Use a socket wrench to remove the nuts and then gently pull the light outwards without completely removing it, in this way you will be able to access the electrical connector that you will need to disconnect by pressing the safety clip. At this point, completely remove the light and proceed with the replacement. Connect the electrical connector, position the new light and secure it with the appropriate nuts, finally, reassemble the inner lining of the trunk.
