The procedure to dismantle the inner panel of a front door of a Volkswagen Golf car requires a crosshead screwdriver, a torx screwdriver, and a plastic lever to help you remove the panel. Start by using the plastic lever to remove the handle cover and then unscrew the torx screws located under the cover. Remove the torx screws along the bottom edge and on the sides of the panel, and gently lever along the edges with the plastic lever to release the panel from the clips. At this point, lift the panel upwards to release it from the upper edge of the door. Disconnect the window lifter connector and other connected wiring.
