How to replace the rear headlight bulb of the 2009 Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

To replace the rear headlight bulb of the 2009 Volkswagen Golf, we need to open the trunk and unscrew the locking nuts located on the outside of the headlight. Remove the side carpet to access the inside of the trunk and disconnect the headlight connector. Remove the headlight and replace the bulb. Insert the headlight back into its housing and connect the connector to the bulb, then reposition the side carpet and screw the external nuts to the headlight. Close the vehicle's trunk and turn on the lights to test the headlight operation, otherwise it may be necessary to replace the fuse.
