How to reset the Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

On the 2009 Volkswagen Golf 6, the reset/restoration is performed directly from the instrument cluster by following the usual sequence as seen in the video. With the vehicle stationary and the engine off, turn the ignition to ON, access the Service or Settings page, and use the buttons on the instrument panel to start the restoration indicated on the screen (for example, reset service or restore onboard settings). Confirm when the request appears on the display and check at the end that the warning or relevant parameters are updated. If the procedure is not accepted, repeat the sequence while respecting the timing of the buttons.
