How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

From the display of the Volkswagen Passat, you can completely clear the Service light by activating the instrument cluster and pressing the OK/RESET button located on the lever to the right of the steering wheel. This will give you access to the menu displayed on the instrument cluster, navigating with the buttons on the same lever. By selecting the "Setup" option and then the "Service intervals" option, you can access the screen that indicates the kilometres remaining until the next service. Pressing the OK/RESET button will reset the light, and then you can turn off the ignition.
