Resetting the service light on a Volkswagen Golf MK7 is a simple and quick task that can be done independently. Insert the key into the ignition switch and without starting the instrument panel, press the 0.0 button located below the display. Hold the button until the reset of the light is complete. At the end of the reset, release the button and restart the vehicle's instrument panel to save the changes made. If the light does not reset, you will need to visit an authorised workshop for diagnosis and to replace or reset the control unit.
