How to Remove the Front Door Trim Panel on a Volkswagen Touran

To remove the front door trim panel on a Volkswagen Touran, open the door and locate the hidden fixing screws in the handle and behind any plastic covers. Remove the covers and unscrew all the screws with a screwdriver. Insert a plastic lever between the panel and the metal frame and pry along the perimeter to unclip the fixing clips. Once all the clips are released, lift the panel upwards to detach it from the upper guide near the glass. Before completely removing it, disconnect the electrical connectors and the internal handle cable. At this point, the panel can be fully removed.
