The external rear-view mirror of a car essentially consists of a reflective inner part, the actual mirror, and a more external part, the casing. If the reflective part suffers an impact, which is not uncommon, it may break and require replacement, but this does not mean replacing the entire mirror; the casing can be salvaged. Observing the tutorial video provided, it is sufficient to lever with a flat screwdriver and the aforementioned reflective part will disengage from its housing, allowing you to disconnect the electrical connector and proceed with the replacement.
