How to Open the Fuse Box on a Volkswagen Passat B7

If you encounter an electrical fault with your Volkswagen Passat B7, you will likely need to check one or more fuses in the fuse boxes. If you don't know where they are, here are the locations: under the bonnet, next to the 12-volt battery that powers the vehicle, and inside the cabin, at the far left of the dashboard. The protective panels installed above them open easily; they are clipped in place, while the cabin panel is secured with perimeter clips, nothing difficult.
