Removing the Car Radio from VW Passat

Need to remove the original car radio from a VW Passat to install a new one? Here’s how to do it. Use the original metal keys to remove the car radio. Insert the keys into the slots on the sides of the radio trim, lock the keys, and pull towards you. Carefully extract the car radio, being mindful of the various wiring connected at the back (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). Install the new car radio with the appropriate adapter (if 2 DIN) and check if it works. If it doesn’t, ensure the electrical connectors are correctly fitted.
