Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Golf 5K1, MK 6, Golf 6, Golf VI - Years 2008-2012
Part: Fog lights
Operation: How to replace the fog light bulb on Volkswagen Golf 6

Replacing the fog light bulb on Volkswagen Golf 6 is a fairly simple operation characterized by easy access to it, in fact to replace it you can intervene directly from the front of the car without having to access the wheel arch as in many other models. First you will have to remove the fake air intake that frames the fog light, this will be fixed by interlocking and to remove it just pry the edges with a flat screwdriver or better still with a plastic lever. Once the dummy air intake has been removed, you will have access to the entire fog light, which will be fixed to the bumper by means of a screw located on the outermost part of the same. Once the screw has been removed, the fog light should come off easily thus giving access to the bulb located on the rear and connected to it via the power connector. At this point it will be sufficient to disconnect the connector and remove the bulb fixed to the fog light by means of a simple bayonet connection to be able to replace it with a new one and reassemble everything.
