Replacing a damaged fuel filter on a Volkswagen Golf 6? Let's see how to take it apart. We lift the car with a column bridge to access the fuel filter; we identify the fuel filter as in the video. With a socket wrench we unscrew the tightening screws of the filter holder plastics (if present). We disconnect all hoses, remove the spent fuel filter from the car. We replace the old filter with a new one. We mount the fuel filter in the engine compartment of the car (we connect hoses and cables) and we tighten the screws of the protection. We connect the power supply terminal. We bring the car to the ground at the end of the assembly. We start the Golf's engine and test.
