Need to replace the damaged fuel filter on a Volkswagen Golf 6? Here’s how to remove it. Lift the car using a column lift to access the fuel filter; locate the fuel filter as shown in the video. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the tightening screws of the filter housing (if present). Disconnect all hoses and remove the exhausted fuel filter from the vehicle. Replace the old filter with a new one. Fit the fuel filter in the engine bay of the car (connect hoses and cables) and tighten the protection screws. Reconnect the feed clamp. Lower the car after finishing the installation. Start the Golf engine and test.
