Replacing the Fuel Filter on Volkswagen Golf 6

Part: Diesel fuel filter

With the engine off and the handbrake engaged, lift the bonnet and secure it, then locate the fuel filter on your left (it is clearly shown in the video) and unscrew the five Torx T20 screws located at the top of the compartment. Before removing the cover with all the connected pipes, place some rags to avoid spilling fuel everywhere. At this point, you can remove the cover and extract the filter from its housing. Insert the new filter and refit the cover: very simple! As you can see, this is a task within everyone's reach.
