Let's see how to proceed to replace the fuel filter in a Volkswagen Golf. We put the car on a lifting platform and raise it so that we can work underneath the chassis. We position ourselves on the passenger side, near the rear seats, and locate the cylindrical-shaped filter under the underbody. With the help of a screwdriver, we unscrew the metal clamp that holds it in place, and place a basin underneath it to collect any fuel that may leak during the operation. Using a screwdriver, we disconnect the tube connections and remove the filter. We replace it with a new one, reattach the tubes, ensuring proper installation, tighten the clamp, and lower the car.
