Removing the External Mirror from Volkswagen Golf 4

In this video tutorial, learn how to remove the external rear-view mirror from the Volkswagen Golf 4. First, take a flat screwdriver and unclip the glass part. Disconnect the heating connectors and remove the glass. Now, unscrew the two screws from the mirror casing: remove the lower cover by applying the right force to unclip it (it is a snap fit). Now, use a plastic tool to pry off the outer cover. Proceed to fit the new cover, taking care not to break the clips.
