Removing the damaged wiper blade from a Volkswagen Golf 5? Here’s how to do it. Lift the wiper arm: disconnect the blade from the metal arm. Fit a new blade onto the arm (insert the plastic part into the base of the arm) and press until it locks. Lower the new blade and remove the adjacent wiper blade if damaged. Once all wiper blades are replaced, check the operation using the lever next to the steering wheel (enter the car and turn on the ignition).
