Removing the door panel of the Passat? Here’s how to do it. Detach the plastic cover under the window, unscrew the screws located in its space. Unscrew the screws around the door panel and detach the securing clips. Finally, pull the panel away by hand and disconnect it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door. You can reassemble the same panel or fit a new one. Connect the electrical connectors first and then everything else.
