Want to replace the rear seats in your car? Here’s how to remove the rear seat base from a Passat. Reach under the rear seat base and lift it off the floor. Move the backrest forward, then remove the metal guides fixed to the car's floor (repeat the same operation on the other half of the backrest). After removing the rear seats, prepare to install the new seats. Fit the new rear seats in the cabin: first, install the backrests using the securing screws, and finally, secure the seat base.
