Lifting with a Jack and Using Axle Stands

When lifting a vehicle with a jack to apply axle stands, it is crucial to identify the correct lifting point to avoid damage during the lift: choose a solid rib located centrally to lift the vehicle in one step. If lifting the front, place chocks behind the rear wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling backwards. Once lifted, position two axle stands at the front, one on each side, ensuring they are aligned at the same height and securing the height adjustment pin; once positioned, lower the vehicle slowly onto the axle stands.
