Volkswagen T2 - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen T2 - Years 1967-1979
Part: Bearing
Operation: Wheel roller bearing replacement

Tools needed: 18mm socket wrench, 5mm Allen wrench, Torx T-40 wrench, screwdriver set, hammer and some good grease preferably synthetic. Obtain replacement bearings. Raise the car, secure it and remove the wheel. Disassemble the entire brake assembly to free the shaft. Remove the brake disc. Pull the roller bearing out of the hub. Thoroughly clean from old grease. Reposition the new steel ring nut of the bearing correctly then position the new bearing inside after having greased it well. Grease the bearing with your hand so that the grease penetrates deeply. Carefully clean the wheel shaft from the old grease, refit the disc after having greased and refit the wheel seal bolt. Spin the wheel by hand to check that there is no friction or abnormal play. Tighten the sealing screw on the hub nut. Clean the cover from the old grease and fill it with new grease. Replace the hub protection cover. Refit the brake caliper and wheel.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
