In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the front door lock on a sixth-generation Volkswagen Golf. First, open the front door and remove the door panel by unscrewing all the fixing screws found on the sides and under the handle; once removed, disconnect the electrical connector and the handle cable. At this point, remove the rectangular cover of the outer handle and take off the side cap: then unscrew the fixing screw to extract the door lock, as shown in the video!
