Replacing the Lock Cylinder on a Volkswagen Golf Mk4

In this video, we will see how to replace the lock cylinder on the door of a Volkswagen Golf Mk4. First, open the car door and, after removing the side cap of the lock, unscrew the screw with a T20 Torx key. Now, using a plastic lever, pull the lock cylinder towards you while keeping the external door handle open. Next, simply pull out the upper plastic piece. Take the new lock cylinder and reinstall it correctly following the same pattern used for removal.
