Removing the Lock Cylinder from the Volkswagen Golf

In this guide, follow the necessary instructions to remove and replace the lock cylinder of the front door of the Volkswagen Golf. First, open the front door of your car and start by removing the plastic cap located on the side of the door; then use a Torx screwdriver to unscrew the lock cylinder screw, as shown in the video. At this point, remove the small plastic cover and then extract the cylinder; install the new lock by reversing the disassembly procedure!
