Discover how to remove and replace the steering lock and ignition cylinder on the fourth generation Volkswagen Golf, as well as the Jetta. First, get inside the vehicle and start by removing the steering wheel along with its airbag; then remove the two plastic clips found on the cylinder, as shown in the video. Next, disconnect the wiring and electrical connector, and extract the entire steering lock by unscrewing all the bolts with a 9 mm and 13 mm spanner; finally, reassemble everything, following the video to the end!
