Here’s how to remove the inner door panel of a Volkswagen Golf MK5 (which in the video is referred to as Rabbit, being evidently an American video). Start by removing the mirror trim at the top, carefully inserting the tool around the trim and prying it off. Next, remove the insert of the inner handle which has two clips, one at the top and one at the bottom. Press both at the same time to release it. This piece must be removed before accessing the bolts, which you will unscrew with a long extension to reach them deeply. Now the panel is ready to be detached. It is held by perimeter clips, so carefully pry and lift the panel upwards to disengage it from the guides. Disconnect the connectors before completely removing the panel.
